Thermal Imaging Cameras for Port Security and Coastal Surveillance    Thermal imaging cameras are widely used for Homeland Security. Thanks to their ability to detect human-sized targets several kilometers away, they are extremely suited for border surveillance and protection. Some FLIR Systems thermal imaging cameras can detect human-sized targets at a distance of practically 20 kilometers away. Protecting a country’s borders is vital to its Homeland Security. It is, however, very challenging to detect potential intruders or smugglers in total darkness or in diverse weather conditions. Thermal imaging cameras can help border control professionals to meet the demands they face at night and in other low-light situations. Thermal imaging cameras can be integrated in a border security project with radars and other sensors in a so called “slew-to-cue” mode.

PTZ-35x140 MS - Thumb

PTZ-35x140 MS Multi-sensor with continuous zoom
The PTZ-35x140 MS is especially developed for security applications. It is a powerful, multi-sensor, mid-range, thermal imaging system. It features two thermal imaging cameras and one daylight / low light camera. One thermal imager has a wide angle field-of-view and is ideal for situational awareness. The other with the narrow field-of-view is designed for mid-range target recognition. The PTZ-35x140 MS allows you to detect objects, the size of a human being, more than 2 km away, in total darkness, through smoke, light fog and in the most adverse weather conditions.

HRC-Series

Thermal imaging cameras for ultra long range surveillance applications with cooled InSb detector The HRC-Series are equipped with a highly reliable, mid-wave, cooled Indium Antimonide InSb detector which offers detection in all weather conditions. This offers excellent situational awareness while also giving the possibility to zoom in at suspect activities, and have a closer look, once they are detected.

  ThermoVision 2000/3000 MS
The ThermoVision 2000/3000 multi-sensor integrate the long range, long wave imaging systems found in the ThermoVision 2000/3000 with a powerful daylight sensor, GPS, advanced mapping software, and optionally a laser rangefinder. An array of advanced functions and options are available to meet the most demanding needs. Just like for the common versions the user can choose between 320 x 240 pixels or 640 x 480 pixels detectors. Also the multi- sensors can either be fixed mounted or optionally be installed on a Pan/Tilt system to increase situational awareness.
